About This Website

    Mission

This website's mission is to help producers live theatre in the Charlotte region find the people, places and things they need to produce it. We offer a database of actors, designers, choreographers, volunteers, and anyone else with something to contribute.

We also provide a list of active theatre companies in the region, courtesy of the Metrolina Theatre Association.

Our plans are to add resources for rehearsal and production facilities, as well as products and services useful for those who produce theatre.

Free For All To Use and Enjoy

This site is provided as a free service to the theatre community. Anyone may participate by adding themselves or their goods to our database, and anyone may browse the database.

We do not offer opinions or reviews, no do we promote specific products or people. Someday we may offer paid advertising, or charge users for premium services, but the basic database will always be free.

All information in the database is provided by those who wish to be in it. We do not curate or verify the information, or make any representations about its accuracy. We will remove vulgar, offensive or inappropriate content. This site is kid-friendly.

    How The Site Works

Anyone may browse and search the database. Use it to find the people you need to produce live theatre.

If you want to be in the database, you must create an account. Then you can publish a profile, with headshots, geographic preferences, skills, and whatever else producers need to find you.

Accounts are free and so are profiles. You can include as much or as little information as you wish, and you can update whenever convenient

We also provide a list of theatre companies in the area. This list is currently maintained by the MTA, so you will need to contact them to add or update information about your theatre.

Finally, we offer a large and growing collection of images about live theatre: headshots, production photos, cast photos, posters and much more. We invite to add your photos to the collection.

    In Partnership with MTA

This site would not be possible without the help of the Metrolina Theatre Association. MTA is a non-profit organization founded in 1984, dedicated to supporting live theatre in the Charlotte metro area. Members include actors, directors, designers and other theatre pratcticioners, theatre companies as well as patrons and supporters large and small.

MTA membership is not required if you want to be listed in this database, but MTA members will be given more prominent placement on this site. For more information, visit the MTA site at www.metrolinatheatreassociation.net.
